Katie Morin, CNCS
is a highly qualified and educated Certified Advanced Newborn Care Specialist/ Night Nanny and Infant Sleep Consultant. She has over 20 years of on the job newborn experience and 4 years working as a NCS Instructor through the NCSA. She resides in Northern California but travels anywhere in the US to care for newborn babies.
Katie is the mother of 3 and is known as "Katie Nana" to hundreds, including 39 sets of twins, 9 sets of triplets and a set of quadruplets. Her passion is caring for and nurturing the newborn and being a helpful support to new and expectant parents. She is knowledgable yet not overbearing and pushy. She has been blessed in her career as an NCS to have worked with the most amazing families.
She is available for day, night and 24/7 shifts anywhere in the US. She holds a valid passport and will travel as needed with a family. She has worked with adoptive families, families with a surrogate and same sex couples. She is kind and nurturing, honest and reliable, loving and patient.
She has worked with special needs newborns (colostomy/stoma, apnea, brain disease, hearing/vision impairment, etc) and with preemies born as little as 1 lb 7 oz.
She has also worked as a professional nanny with kids up to age 13, so if you have older children, you can guarantee that Katie will incorporate them and make them feel special. For example, she will arrive early to work to watch your 3 yr olds puppet show or to read a story to your 5 yr old. She will also pitch in and help with any household duties, whether its loading the dishes into the dishwasher or folding the load of laundry in the dryer.
